Elevate your dessert game with our easy Tres Leches Cake made with Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ Yellow Cake Mix. Simply poke holes in the cake and pour a mix of sweetened condensed milk, whole milk, and whipping cream for a moist and rich flavor. Perfect for birthdays, holidays, or weekends.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ Yellow Cake Mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated)
  • 1 cup whole milk or evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tub (12 oz) Betty Crocker™ Whipped Fluffy White Frosting
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan) and generously spray a 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray.
  • In a spacious bowl, use an electric mixer to blend cake mix, water, oil, vanilla, and eggs on medium speed for 2 minutes, scraping the sides occasionally. Transfer the batter into a pan.
  • Bake for 24-28 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Transfer the cake to a cooling rack and let it sit for 5 minutes. Use a fork to poke holes every 1/2 inch across the top of the cake, wiping the fork with a paper towel if needed to prevent sticking.
  • Combine sweetened condensed milk, whole milk, and whipping cream in a large bowl until mixture is well blended. Pour mixture evenly over cake to fill holes. Chill cake in the refrigerator for about 2 hours. Spoon frosting over cake and spread evenly. Store covered in the refrigerator.
