Cedar-plank smoked fish with sweet herb rub is a tasty masterpiece.
Ingredients:
  • 1 12 inch untreated cedar plank
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 0.25 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 0.25 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 0.125 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 (5 ounce) cod fillets
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
Instructions:
  • Submerge the cedar plank in water for a minimum of 3 hours.
  • In a small bowl, mix rosemary, parsley, garlic salt, and salt. Stir in honey with melted butter. Brush cod fillets with the honey butter, then sprinkle herb mixture over the top. Refrigerate the seasoned fish for 30 minutes.
  • Fire up the outdoor grill to a gentle medium-low heat.
  • Prepare the cedar plank by brushing one side with aromatic olive oil. Carefully place the fish in the center of the oiled plank. Grill on medium-low heat until the fish is easily flaked with a fork, usually around 20 to 30 minutes. Enjoy the smoky flavors!
