2slices (3/4 ounce each) Colby, Monterey Jack or Cheddar cheese, cut into halves
1/4 cupcranberry-orange sauce or relish
6ounces thinly sliced cookedturkey
4slicesfirm-textured wheat or rye bread
1 to 2tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
Instructions:
On 2 slices of bread, create a delicious stack by evenly layering half of the cheese, sauce, and turkey. Place the remaining bread slices on top. Generously spread about half of the butter on the top slices of bread.
In a 10-inch skillet over medium heat, lay down the sandwiches with the buttered side facing down. Spread butter on the top slices of bread. Cook uncovered for around 5 minutes until golden brown. Flip the sandwiches and cook for an additional 2 minutes until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
