Create effortless, fun cookies perfect for the kids' table, no rolling required.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Sugar Cookie Mix
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tub (12 oz) Betty Crocker™ Whipped Chocolate Frosting
  • Candy corn
  • 1 tube (4.25 oz) Betty Crocker™ yellow decorating icing
  • M&M's® minis chocolate candies
  • 1 tube (0.68 oz) Betty Crocker™ black decorating gel
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F. Combine cookie mix, butter, and egg in a medium bowl, and mix until a soft dough forms. Using a rounded tablespoon, drop dough onto ungreased cookie sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 11 to 14 minutes until edges turn light golden brown. Allow to cool for 1 minute, then transfer from cookie sheets to cooling racks. Cool completely, approximately 15 minutes.
  • Decorate each cookie individually: Spread frosting on the cookie and place candy corn as feathers. Use yellow icing for the beak and feet, M&M's™ minis for the eyes, and pipe black gel in the center of each eye.
