Turkish spiced haloumi sticks with Baharat seasoning, served with tangy yogurt dressing and a squeeze of lemon for a refreshing twist.
Ingredients:
  • 2 x 180g packets haloumi
  • 1/2 x 25g sachet Baharat seasoning
  • 56.88 gm extra virgin olive oil
  • 28.60 gm honey
  • 5.30 gm lemon juice
  • Lemon wedges, to serve
  • Fresh coriander sprigs, to serve
  • 125.00 ml plain Greek-style yoghurt
  • 1 tsp Baharat seasoning
  • 20.00 ml chopped fresh coriander
Instructions:
  • Cut each piece of haloumi into 8 sticks, arranging them gracefully on a plate before delicately sprinkling with a flavorful seasoning mix, ensuring each stick is evenly coated.
  • In a large frying pan over medium-high heat, sizzle haloumi in two batches, flipping occasionally for 3 to 4 minutes until beautifully golden and warmed. Pat dry on paper towel before serving.
  • In a bowl, mix together yogurt, seasoning, and fresh coriander to create a flavorful dipping sauce.
  • Drizzle haloumi with a sweet, tangy combo of honey and fresh lemon juice. Serve alongside a flavorful dipping sauce, lemon wedges, and fragrant coriander sprigs.
