Satisfyingly large batch of crispy, chewy peanut butter cookies.
Ingredients:
  • 7.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons baking soda
  • 1.5 teaspoons salt
  • 6 cups brown sugar
  • 3 cups butter, softened
  • 3 cups peanut butter
  • 6 eggs
  • 0.5 cup white sugar, or as needed
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Prepare multiple baking sheets by lining them with parchment paper.
  • Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl and whisk until well mixed.
  • Combine brown sugar, butter, and peanut butter in a large bowl and mix until smooth and well-combined.
  • Incorporate the eggs thoroughly.
  • Combine the flour mixture with the peanut butter mixture until a smooth dough forms.
  • Add white sugar to a shallow bowl.
  • Shape dough into delectable tablespoon-sized balls and then gently coat them in the enticing white sugar until every side is perfectly coated.
  • Arrange cookies on lined baking sheets, ensuring they are spaced at least 1 inch apart.
  • Flatten each cookie with a fork, creating a classic criss-cross pattern on top.
  • Bake the cookies in the preheated oven until lightly browned on the bottom, approximately 12 minutes. Let them cool on the baking sheets for about 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
