Delicious chuck roast marinated with vegetable oil, ketchup, red wine, mustard, chili powder, vinegar, garlic, and celery salt, grilled to perfection.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup vegetable oil
  • 0.5 cup ketchup
  • 0.25 cup red wine
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 0.5 teaspoon celery salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon chili powder
  • 4 pounds chuck roast
Instructions:
  • Heat up your outdoor grill to medium heat and lightly oil the grate.
  • Combine oil, ketchup, wine, vinegar, garlic, salt, pepper, mustard powder, celery salt, and chili powder in a large bowl. Pierce the roast all over with a fork, then place in the marinade, coating well. Marinate covered in the fridge for at least 12 hours, turning occasionally.
  • Grill over medium heat until both sides are beautifully charred, ensuring the inside reaches a juicy 145 degrees F (65 degrees C).
