Fluffy and delightful rolls made effortlessly with a bread machine.
Ingredients:
  • 3 cups bread flour
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
  • 1.5 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1 (.25 ounce) package active dry yeast
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • stick butter
Instructions:
  • Add the bread flour, buttermilk, brown sugar, salt, yeast, and egg yolk into the bread machine. Start the Dough setting to mix the ingredients until moist. Pause the cycle to add the oil, then resume until the Dough cycle is complete.
  • Prepare the muffin pans or baking sheet by greasing them, then set aside.
  • After punching down the dough, shape it into 12 smooth rolls. Place the rolls in individual cups of a muffin pan or on a baking sheet, ensuring they are not touching. Cover with a kitchen towel and let rise in a warm spot until doubled in size, approximately 25 minutes.
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C. Bake the risen rolls for 20 minutes until beautifully golden. While hot, gently rub the tops with a stick of butter to create a tender crust. Let them cool slightly before serving them warm.
