Delicious venison and sausage dish, worth the wait!
Ingredients:
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seed
  • 1 pound ground venison
  • 1 pound pork sausage
  • 1.5 teaspoons mustard powder
  • 2 teaspoons liquid smoke flavoring
  • 1.5 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1.5 teaspoons onion salt
  • 1.5 teaspoons meat tenderizer
  • 0.25 cup water, or as needed
Instructions:
  • Combine ground venison and pork sausage in a large bowl. Season with mustard powder, mustard seed, liquid smoke, garlic powder, onion salt, and meat tenderizer. Add water gradually until mixture becomes sticky. Cover and refrigerate for three days, mixing daily.
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 160 degrees F (70 degrees C, if you prefer Celsius). Shape the mixture into charming 2-inch rolls and carefully arrange them on a baking sheet.
  • Cook the dish in the preheated oven for 6 hours until it is firm and fully cooked. Then, wrap it in plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to use.
