Delicious broccoli-rice bake with creamy mushroom sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 0.33333334326744 sleeve buttery round crackers (such as Ritz®), crushed
  • 0.25 cup margarine, melted
  • 1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped broccoli, thawed
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup uncooked instant rice (such as Minute®)
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup water
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Combine crushed crackers with rich, melted margarine in a small bowl until evenly coated; set aside.
  • Combine the broccoli, onion, Cheddar cheese, rice, condensed cream of mushroom soup, and water in a 2 quart casserole dish. Top with cracker crumbs before baking.
  • Bake until the casserole is heated through and the top is golden and bubbling, for 45 minutes to 1 hour in the preheated oven.
