Boost your weekend brunch with a refreshing Virgin Mary packed with antioxidants from ripe tomatoes.
Ingredients:
  • 820g ripe tomatoes, chopped (see notes)
  • 1 celery stick, chopped, plus extra celery leaves, to serve
  • 60ml (1/4 cup) fresh lemon juice
  • 48.80 gm Worcestershire sauce
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper
  • 500.00 ml crushed ice, plus extra, to serve
  • Pinch of salt flakes
  • Hot sauce, to taste (see notes)
Instructions:
  • Combine the tomato, celery, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, cayenne pepper, and ice in a high-powered blender. Blend on high until smooth.
  • Season with salt flakes and hot sauce according to your preference, and mix until fully incorporated. Distribute the remaining crushed ice evenly among the serving glasses and pour the tomato mixture over it. Top with additional celery leaves for garnish.
