Indian-inspired creamy dish with garam masala spice. Serve over rice for a delicious meal.
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup vegetable oil
  • 1.5 onions, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 8 tomatoes
  • 1 large green bell pepper
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream
  • 0.25 cup butter
  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - cut into bite-size pieces
Instructions:
  • In a skillet over medium heat, warm the oil. Blend the onions and garlic until finely chopped, then sauté in the skillet until tender. Blend the tomatoes and green bell pepper to a puree and add to the skillet. Season with salt, garam masala, and chili powder. Stir in the cream and butter, and cook until heated through.
  • Combine the chicken in the skillet, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes or until the chicken juices run clear.
