Easy and delicious funnel cake recipe made with common pantry and fridge ingredients.
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup vegetable oil for frying, or as needed
  • 1.25 cups all-purpose flour, or more if needed
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 0.5 cup water
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
  • Coat the bottom of a skillet with oil and heat over medium-high heat.
  • Combine flour, sugar, water, milk, egg, baking powder, vanilla extract, and salt in a blender until silky. Adjust consistency with more flour if needed. Pour batter into a funnel, covering the hole with your finger.
  • Hold the filled funnel over the skillet, release the batter, and swirl it into the hot oil. Cook until golden brown, around 5 minutes on each side.
