World's Best Oreo Fudge

Decadent Oreo fudge, a delightful holiday gift.
Ingredients:
  • 3 cups white sugar
  • 0.75 cup butter
  • 0.66666668653488 cup evaporated milk
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1 (7 ounce) jar marshmallow creme
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup crumbled chocolate sandwich cookies (such as Oreo®)
  • 1 cup crushed chocolate sandwich cookies (such as Oreo®)
Instructions:
  • Prepare a 9x13-inch baking dish by lining it with parchment paper; set it aside.
  • In a heavy-bottomed saucepan, combine sugar, butter, and evaporated milk. Stir constantly and bring to a boil. Cook and stir until the mixture is smooth, which will take about 3 to 5 minutes.
  • Take the saucepan off the heat. Combine white chocolate chips and marshmallow creme until melted, then mix in vanilla. Gently fold in 1/2 cup crumbled cookies. Transfer the fudge to the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  • Sprinkle 1 cup of crushed cookies evenly over the top of the fudge and gently press them in. Let it cool at room temperature until set, then cut into small squares to serve.
