Simple yet flavorful Polish pork ribs with allspice gravy, perfect for a quick and tasty weeknight meal.
Ingredients:
  • 2 pounds pork ribs, cut into 2-inch strips
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 onions, sliced
  • 1 cup water
  • 5 whole allspice berries
  • 2 bay leaves
Instructions:
  • Season the pork ribs generously with salt and pepper.
  • 1. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Sear ribs until golden brown on each side, approximately 5 minutes. 2. Add onion and sauté until tender and translucent, 3 to 5 minutes. 3. Pour in water, then add allspice berries and bay leaves. Cover and simmer for about 40 minutes until flavors meld together. 4. Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
