Classic zebra icebox cake: Chocolate cookies and whipped cream layers create stunning black and white stripes when sliced.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons confectioners' sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 (9 ounce) package chocolate wafer cookies
  • 0.25 cup grated chocolate
Instructions:
  • Prepare all ingredients.
  • Whip cream in a chilled glass or metal bowl using an electric mixer. Slowly incorporate confectioners' sugar and vanilla extract while beating until stiff peaks form.
  • Top each cookie with a luscious dollop of whipped cream.
  • Stack cookies to create impressive 3-inch towers.
  • Spread a 1-inch-wide line of whipped cream down the center of a serving platter. Arrange cookie stacks sideways, forming a log shape, and gently press into the whipped cream to hold in place.
  • Cover the cookie log with the remaining whipped cream and sprinkle generously with grated chocolate. Chill in the refrigerator, tightly covered, for 8 hours or overnight.
  • To present beautifully, cut diagonally to create striped slices.
