Ingredients:
  • 1 medium zucchini, grated
  • 1 onion, grated
  • 1/2 carrot, grated
  • 1/2 celeriac, peeled and grated
  • 15.00 ml anise seed, crushed
  • 10.00 ml celery seed
  • 2.40 gm salt
  • 1 pinch ground black pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 150.00 gm self-raising flour, or as needed
  • Oil, for frying
Instructions:
  • Combine zucchini, onion, carrot, garlic, celeriac, anise seed, celery seed, lightly beaten egg, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Gently fold in flour until a soft, slightly sticky dough forms.
  • Preheat oil in deep-fryer to 190C. Fry spoonfuls of dough until golden brown on all sides.
