Elevate basic eggs with a devilish twist: bell pepper horns and parsley fangs for a spooky presentation.
Ingredients:
  • 6 eggs
  • Assorted cut-up herbs, olives, baby-cut carrots, bell pepper, green onion and other vegetables of choice, as desired
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • Paprika, as desired
Instructions:
  • In a 3-quart saucepan, place eggs in a single layer and add enough cold water to cover them by 1 inch. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat and let stand covered for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, prepare assorted herbs and vegetables for decoration. Drain the eggs and immediately cool them in ice water or under running cold water. Gently crack the eggshell all over, then roll between your hands to loosen it. Peel the eggs starting from the large end.
  • Halve each egg lengthwise and carefully remove the yolks, transferring them to a small bowl. Mash the yolks using a fork.
  • Mix creamy mayonnaise and tangy mustard into the yolks until smooth. Generously fill the egg whites with the delicious yolk mixture, mounding it gently.
  • Enhance with a sprinkle of paprika, and adorn with your favorite herbs and vegetables to create fun faces. Loosely cover and refrigerate for up to 24 hours.
