Quick and easy 10-minute risotto for busy weeknights!
Ingredients:
  • 18.20 gm olive oil
  • 20.00 gm butter
  • 200g swiss brown mushrooms, thinly sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves (optional)
  • 450g pkt microwave long-grain white rice
  • 40g sachet McCormick Beef and Mushroom Ragout Slow Cookers recipe base
  • 500ml (2 cups) boiling water
  • 50g parmesan cheese, finely grated
Instructions:
  • In a large frying pan over medium heat, heat oil and butter until the butter is foaming. Add mushrooms and fry for 3-4 minutes until golden. Stir in garlic, if desired, and cook for 30 seconds until aromatic.
  • Combine the rice, McCormick Beef and Mushroom Ragout Slow Cookers recipe base, and boiling water in a pot. Stir well and bring to a boil. Lower the heat, simmer for 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  • Divide the dish onto serving plates and generously sprinkle with parmesan before serving.
