Crispy cornstarch-coated tofu, accompanied by zesty green onions and rich hoisin sauce. Enjoy with your favorite dip.
Ingredients:
1 (12 ounce) packageextra firm tofu
3tablespoons cornstarch
2green onions, chopped
2tablespoons hoisin sauce
Instructions:
Cut the tofu into 12 cubes. Coat the tofu thoroughly by dredging it in cornstarch placed on a plate or in a shallow bowl.
Heat a generous amount of oil until it reaches halfway up the tofu. Fry the tofu in the hot oil for 3 to 5 minutes per side, or until it turns crispy. Place the fried tofu on paper towels to drain excess oil.
Top tofu with vibrant green onions and generously drizzle with savory hoisin sauce before serving promptly.
