Crispy cornstarch-coated tofu, accompanied by zesty green onions and rich hoisin sauce. Enjoy with your favorite dip.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (12 ounce) package extra firm tofu
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
Instructions:
  • Cut the tofu into 12 cubes. Coat the tofu thoroughly by dredging it in cornstarch placed on a plate or in a shallow bowl.
  • Heat a generous amount of oil until it reaches halfway up the tofu. Fry the tofu in the hot oil for 3 to 5 minutes per side, or until it turns crispy. Place the fried tofu on paper towels to drain excess oil.
  • Top tofu with vibrant green onions and generously drizzle with savory hoisin sauce before serving promptly.
