Whip up a delicious homemade Hawaiian shoyu poke using fresh ahi tuna, shoyu soy sauce, green onion, and sesame oil for a quick and easy meal.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound fresh ahi steaks, cut into small cubes
  • 0.25 cup soy sauce
  • 0.25 cup chopped Maui onion
  • 0.25 cup chopped green onion
  • 1 chile pepper, seeded and diced
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoons toasted sesame seeds
  • 2 teaspoons finely chopped toasted macadamia nuts
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • sea salt to taste
Instructions:
  • Toss together ahi cubes, soy sauce, Maui onion, green onion, chile pepper, sesame oil, sesame seeds, macadamia nuts, ginger, and sea salt in a large bowl.
