Air Fryer Bacon-Chorizo Tater Tot® Dressing

Air fryer Tater Tot® dressing with bacon and chorizo - a flavorful twist on a classic using minimal ingredients for quick cooking.
Ingredients:
  • nonstick cooking spray
  • 0.25 pound bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 9 ounces ground chorizo
  • 0.5 pound frozen bite-size potato nuggets (such as Tater Tots®)
  • 1 stalk celery, sliced
  • 0.25 cup water
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic base (such as Better Than Bouillon® Roasted Garlic Base)
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 370 degrees F (190 degrees C) while you lightly coat a 7-inch springform pan with cooking spray.
  • Arrange the Tater Tots® in the air fryer basket and cook for 15 minutes, remembering to shake the basket halfway through.
  • In a small skillet over medium-high heat, crisp up the bacon pieces for about 5 minutes. Then, add in the chorizo and celery slices and saute for another 3 minutes. Remember to drain any excess grease before continuing.
  • In a bowl, combine Tater Tots® with the bacon-chorizo mixture. Add water, egg, and garlic base, then mix until well coated. Transfer the mixture into the prepared springform pan.
  • Lower the air fryer temperature to 320 degrees F (160 degrees C), then place the springform pan inside. Cook for 7 minutes until the dressing is fully cooked. If needed, cook for an extra 3 minutes until done.
