Whip up easy and delicious air fryer fried rice using leftover rice, frozen veggies, and condiments for a hassle-free meal without the wok.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups cold cooked rice
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 cup frozen peas and carrots, thawed
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Sriracha sauce
Instructions:
  • Preheat the 5-quart air fryer to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C following the manufacturer's directions.
  • Combine cooked rice with fragrant sesame oil, water, vegetable oil, salt, and pepper in a large bowl until thoroughly mixed. Spread the mixture into a 7-inch round metal cake pan or air fryer insert and place it into the air fryer basket.
  • - Place the basket in the preheated air fryer and cook for 10 minutes, remembering to stir halfway through. - Drizzle beaten egg over rice and air-fry until set, approximately 4 minutes. - Mix in peas and carrots, breaking up the egg, then air-fry for an additional 2 minutes.
  • Whisk together soy sauce and Sriracha in a small bowl; reserve for serving later.
  • Serve the fried rice in two bowls and generously drizzle the sauce on top.
