Crispy air-fried carrots drizzled with zesty tahini-lemon sauce for a flavorful Middle Eastern inspired side dish or snack.
Ingredients:
  • 3 large carrots, peeled and cut into sticks
  • 1 tablespoon grapeseed oil
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 pinch salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 1.5 tablespoons plain yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon tahini
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 pinch garlic powder
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 pinch Aleppo pepper
Instructions:
  • Preheat the air fryer to 390°F (200°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • Coat carrot sticks in a fragrant blend of oil, cumin, coriander, salt, and pepper in a spacious bowl. Air fry the seasoned carrots for a total of 10 minutes, shaking halfway through, until tender and beautifully caramelized.
  • In a small bowl, combine yogurt, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, and cayenne. Season with salt to taste.
  • Arrange the carrots on a plate, then generously drizzle the sauce over them. Top with fresh parsley and a sprinkle of Aleppo flakes for a flavorful finish.
