Indulgent blueberry crisp with a buttery oat topping, ideal for a summer treat with a delicious scoop of ice cream.
Ingredients:
  • cooking spray
  • 4 cups fresh blueberries
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 0.75 cup brown sugar
  • 0.75 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup rolled oats
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon, or to taste
  • 0.25 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.33333334326744 cup cold butter, cut into small cubes
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and generously grease an 8-inch square baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Prepare the filling by gently combining blueberries, sugar, and flour in a large bowl until evenly coated, then pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  • Prepare the topping by mixing brown sugar, flour, oats, salt, cinnamon, and baking soda in a separate bowl. Use 2 knives or a pastry blender to cut in cold butter until the mixture looks like coarse crumbs. Evenly sprinkle over the blueberry mixture.
  • Bake until golden brown and bubbly, approximately 30 minutes in the preheated oven.
