4-ingredient homemade almond roca is a holiday hit!
Ingredients:
  • 1 large chocolate bar, grated, divided
  • 1 (6 ounce) package sliced almonds, chopped, divided
  • 1 pound butter
Instructions:
  • Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with aluminum foil.
  • Spread half of the chocolate and half of the almonds evenly over the prepared baking sheet.
  • In a stainless steel pan, melt sugar and butter over low heat. Increase heat to medium and stir constantly until boiling. Continue heating until the mixture reaches 310 degrees F (155 degrees C) or until a small amount dropped into cold water forms hard, brittle threads (about 30 minutes to 1 hour).
  • Drizzle the butter-sugar mixture over the chocolate and almonds on the baking sheet. Sprinkle the remaining chocolate and almonds over the mixture. Allow to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until set, approximately 1 hour. Break into pieces before serving.
