Deliciously light and fluffy white chocolate chip cookies.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup shortening
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 6 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cream together the shortening, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until fluffy. In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and cream of tartar. Gradually add the flour mixture and milk to the creamed mixture. Gently fold in the chocolate chips. Spoon teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets.
  • Bake until lightly golden at the edges in a preheated oven for about 10 minutes.
