Antipasto squares: Layers of roasted red bell pepper, deli meats, and cheeses baked in a flaky crescent roll crust, ideal for sharing.
Ingredients:
  • 2 (10 ounce) cans refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
  • 0.25 pound thinly sliced boiled ham
  • 0.25 pound thinly sliced provolone cheese
  • 0.25 pound thinly sliced Swiss cheese
  • 0.25 pound thinly sliced Genoa salami
  • 0.25 pound thinly sliced pepperoni sausage
  • 1 (12 ounce) jar roasted red peppers, drained, cut into thin strips
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • Place a single package of crescent roll dough in a 9x13 inch pan to create a base. Top the dough with layers of ham, provolone cheese, Swiss cheese, salami, pepperoni, and red peppers.
  • Lightly beat eggs in a bowl, then mix in Parmesan cheese and black pepper. Pour 3/4 of the egg mixture over the peppers. Unroll the remaining dough and place it over the peppers; brush it with the rest of the egg mixture. Cover with aluminum foil.
  • Bake in a preheated oven until the dough is fluffy and golden brown, about 25-45 minutes. Cut into squares and serve warm or at room temperature.
