Indulgent honey-custard drizzled apple-raspberry crumble.
Ingredients:
  • 300g fresh raspberries or frozen raspberries
  • 425g can pie apple
  • 5.00 gm ground cinnamon
  • 10.00 gm custard powder
  • 20.00 gm caster sugar
  • 257.50 gm skim milk
  • 125.00 ml toasted muesli
  • 89.38 gm honey
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 180°C and lightly grease a 23cm diameter deep pie plate.
  • Combine raspberries, apple slices, and cinnamon in a pie plate, gently tossing together.
  • In a small saucepan, mix custard powder and sugar. Gradually stir in a bit of milk until smooth. Add the rest of the milk and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the custard boils, about 4 to 5 minutes.
  • Cover the fruit with a rich custard, top it with crunchy muesli, and finish with a luscious drizzle of honey.
  • Bake until the crumble turns golden and hot, typically around 25-30 minutes. Serve the dish warm.
