Use a carrot cake mix and apples to create a delicious cobbler, a perfect dessert.
Ingredients:
  • 8 large Fuji apples (about 4 1/2 lb), peeled, sliced
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Delights Super Moist™ Carrot Cake Mix
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 to 2/3 cup buttermilk
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F and generously spray a 13x9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Coat apples in a delightful mix of brown sugar, flour, and cinnamon in a large bowl. Transfer the coated apples to a baking dish with flair.
  • Combine cake mix, melted butter, and eggs in a bowl until smooth. Then, evenly spread the batter over the apples.
  • Bake until filling bubbles and topping turns golden brown, about 40-45 minutes.
  • Combine powdered sugar, vanilla, and just the right amount of buttermilk in a bowl until you achieve a thin drizzling consistency. Drizzle the glaze over each warm cobbler serving.
