Elevate babka with these decadent French toast sticks for a versatile brunch or dessert option.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon white sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 6 thick slices chocolate babka, about 3/4-inch thick
  • 1 tablespoon confectioners' sugar
Instructions:
  • Combine milk, egg, sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a shallow bowl and whisk until smooth.
  • Gently melt the butter in a large skillet over low heat.
  • Coat each slice of babka in the egg mixture and place in the hot skillet. Cook until the mixture begins to set and the slices brown, about 3 to 4 minutes. Flip slices and cook the other side until browned, about 3 to 4 minutes, being careful not to burn.
  • Transfer to a beautiful serving plate and sprinkle with confectioners' sugar for a delightful finishing touch.
