Savory Bacon and Cheddar muffins, a handheld delight!
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound bacon
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 0.5 cup vegetable oil
Instructions:
  • Crisp bacon in a large skillet over medium-high heat for about 10 minutes until golden brown. Drain on paper towels and crumble once cooled.
  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) and generously coat 24 muffin cups with cooking spray.
  • Combine the flour, sharp Cheddar cheese, baking powder, garlic salt, and black pepper in a large bowl.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, and vegetable oil until combined. Gently fold in bacon. Spoon batter into muffin cups.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Serve warm.
