Elevate baked fish with flavorful tahini sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 4 ocean perch fillets
  • lemon wedges, to serve
  • 1 small garlic clove, crushed
  • 36.00 gm tahini (see note)
  • 30.00 ml thick plain yoghurt
  • 2.00 lemon, juiced
  • 30.00 gm water
  • 5 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 1 small red chilli, deseeded, finely chopped
  • 57.50 gm walnuts, finely chopped
  • 82.50 ml pine nuts, finely chopped
  • 125.00 ml coriander, chopped
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 2.50 gm ground cumin
  • 27.30 gm olive oil
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 200°C and prepare a generously greased and lined large baking dish.
  • Prepare the sauce by mixing together garlic, tahini, yogurt, 1 1/2 tablespoons of lemon juice, and water until well combined. Cover and set aside.
  • Prepare the delectable topping by thoroughly mixing together garlic, chili, nuts, coriander, onions, cumin, 2 tablespoons of zesty lemon juice, oil, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Arrange fish fillets neatly in a baking dish. Spread topping evenly over the fish, gently pressing down. Bake for 15 minutes, or until fish is fully cooked.
  • Plate the fish alongside a dollop of creamy tahini sauce, fresh lemon wedges, and a vibrant chickpea and herb salad.
