Baked four-cheese gnocchi with walnuts

Indulge in a comforting, cheesy gnocchi bake.
Ingredients:
  • 300ml thin cream
  • 60g parmesan, grated
  • 25g gorgonzola* cheese
  • 50g shredded mozzarella
  • 50g Taleggio* cheese
  • 20.00 ml plain flour
  • 5.90 gm Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 tsp grated nutmeg
  • 500g potato gnocchi
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 50g toasted walnuts
  • 20.00 ml finely chopped fresh parsley
  • 40.00 ml dried breadcrumbs
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 200°C for the perfect baking temperature.
  • In a saucepan, combine cream and cheeses over low heat until melted, stirring for 1-2 minutes. Whisk in flour, mustard, and nutmeg. Season with salt and pepper, then remove from heat.
  • Prepare the gnocchi following the directions on the packet.
  • Combine the egg with the cheese sauce, walnuts, and parsley, stirring well. Divide the gnocchi among 4 ovenproof dishes, pour the sauce over them, and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Bake in the oven for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
