Savory ground beef pasta bake in creamy tomato gravy, ideal for cozy nights.
Ingredients:
  • cooking spray
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 2 (15 ounce) cans tomato sauce
  • 12 ounces brown gravy
  • 0.5 cup half-and-half
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 (16 ounce) package dry ziti pasta
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions:
  • Heat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and generously grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Preheat a large frying pan or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Brown and crumble ground beef for 5 to 7 minutes. Stir in tomato sauce, gravy, half-and-half, Parmesan cheese, garlic, oregano, and basil. Let it simmer for 30 minutes.
  • Fill a large pot with lightly salted water and bring to a rolling boil. Add ziti pasta, cook until al dente, for about 10-12 minutes. Drain.
  • Combine ziti with meat sauce, then transfer to the baking dish. Generously top with mozzarella cheese.
  • Bake until golden and bubbly, about 20-30 minutes in a preheated oven.
