Bake a fragrant fall dish with cardamom, ginger, and sweet potatoes that will gather everyone together.
Ingredients:
  • 3 pounds sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 0.5 cup honey
  • 3 tablespoons grated fresh ginger
  • 2 tablespoons walnut oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • Combine sweet potatoes, honey, fresh ginger, olive oil, ground cardamom, and black pepper in a large bowl. Transfer the mixture to a large cast iron skillet.
  • Roast sweet potatoes in the preheated oven until tender and caramelized, about 40 minutes, stirring once halfway through.
