Baked swordfish with shallots, bell pepper, and white wine sauce - simple and decadent.
Ingredients:
  • 2 (4 ounce) swordfish steaks
  • 1 medium orange bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups white wine
  • 0.5 cup minced shallot
Instructions:
  • In a 9x13-inch baking dish, arrange the swordfish with bell pepper slices. Drizzle wine over everything and sprinkle with shallots. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour to marinate.
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) while letting the fish come to room temperature.
  • Roast in the preheated oven, brushing with the wine marinade every so often, until the fish easily flakes with a fork, for 20 to 30 minutes.
