Vegetarian-friendly omelet bake, a modern twist on classic stratas.
Ingredients:
  • 1 1/3 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 2 cups chopped broccoli or 1 package (10 ounces) frozen chopped broccoli, thawed and drained
  • 3 medium tomatoes, coarsely chopped (2 cups)
  • 2 2/3 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/3 cups milk
  • 1/3 cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 eggs
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  • In an ungreased 8x8x2 inch square baking dish, arrange Monterey Jack cheese, broccoli, tomatoes, and Cheddar cheese in layers. In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, flour, salt, and eggs until smooth, then pour over the layered cheese mixture.
  • Bake for 40-45 minutes until the egg mixture is fully set. Allow it to rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
