Enhance dish with sweet tomato wedges as a finishing touch before serving.
Ingredients:
  • 4 No Added Hormones Beef Porterhouse Steaks
  • 30.00 ml balsamic glaze
  • 2 bunches asparagus, woody ends trimmed
  • 2 baby fennel or 1 large fennel, cut into wedges
  • 120g pkt Baby Rocket
Instructions:
  • Preheat a barbecue grill or chargrill to medium-high heat, then lightly spray the steaks with olive oil and season well.
  • Set aside 1 tablespoon of balsamic glaze in a bowl. Grill steaks for 1 minute. Flip the steaks and brush the cooked side with half of the remaining balsamic glaze. Grill for another minute. Flip again and brush the other side with the rest of the balsamic glaze. Grill for an additional minute on each side until the steaks are caramelized to your liking. Transfer steaks to a plate, cover with foil, and let them rest for 5 minutes. Slice the steaks across the grain.
  • Grill the asparagus and fennel until lightly charred and tender, about 1-2 minutes per side. Place them on a large serving plate with rocket, then top with the steak. Finish by drizzling with the reserved balsamic glaze before serving.
