Elevate classic banana bread with indulgent butterscotch morsels.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.75 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 0.75 cup white sugar
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 0.75 cup butterscotch chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a cozy 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) while giving your loaf pans a light coating of grease.
  • Combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda, salt, and nutmeg in a bowl and set aside.
  • Use an electric mixer to blend sugar and butter in a large bowl until fluffy. Add egg, then mix in mashed bananas. Combine flour mixture until just mixed. Gently fold in butterscotch chips and walnuts. Distribute batter evenly into pans.
  • Bake until toothpick comes out clean, 25-28 minutes. Let cool in pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire rack to cool completely.
