Bananas, brown sugar, and pecans baked under a banana cake mix, then flipped for a delicious upside-down treat!
Ingredients:
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 0.5 cup chopped pecans
  • 4 bananas, sliced
  • 1 (18.25 ounce) package banana cake mix
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and prep two 8-inch pans by greasing and flouring them. Divide the butter and brown sugar mixture between the pans, spreading it out evenly. Sprinkle pecans over the brown sugar mixture, then arrange banana slices evenly on top.
  • Follow the cake mix package instructions to prepare the batter. Then, evenly divide the batter between the two pans.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Flip cakes onto a platter, tap lightly, remove pans, and replace any caramel stuck to the pan.
