Signature Bloody Mary recipe from esteemed London restaurant, Barbecoa - a must-try!
Ingredients:
  • 2 rashers higher-welfare smoked streaky bacon
  • 200ml quality tomato juice
  • 100ml vodka
  • 2 teaspoons BBQ sauce
  • celery salt
  • ½ a lemon
  • a large handful of ice cubes
  • 1 gherkin
Instructions:
  • Cook bacon until golden and crisp in a small frying pan over medium-high heat, flipping halfway. In a separate bowl, mix tomato juice, vodka, BBQ sauce, Worcestershire sauce, celery salt, black pepper, lemon juice. Adjust seasoning to taste. Fill two glasses with ice and pour the bloody Mary over. Garnish each glass with bacon and a slice of gherkin before serving.
