Grill fresh corn for a tasty barbecue side dish.
Ingredients:
  • 80 g butter or margarine, softened
  • 20.00 ml finely chopped fresh continental parsley
  • 20.00 ml finely chopped fresh basil
  • Salt & ground black pepper
  • 4 corn cobs (with husks intact)
Instructions:
  • Combine butter or margarine with fresh parsley and basil in a small bowl. Season with salt and pepper, then mix until fully incorporated.
  • Gently peel back the corn husks, taking out the silk threads. Replace the husks to cover the cobs and tie with string to secure. Soak the corn in cold water for 3 minutes.
  • Heat up a barbecue grill or chargrill over medium heat.
  • Grill the corn on the preheated barbecue for 15 minutes, turning occasionally, until kernels are tender. Remove husks, spoon herb butter onto corn, and serve hot.
