Ingredients:
  • 3 pounds beef chuck
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes with juice
  • 0.5 cup distilled white vinegar
  • 0.5 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 0.33333334326744 (10 fluid ounce) bottle Worcestershire sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • In a Dutch oven, add the roast and top it with chopped onions, tomatoes, water, sugar, and Worcestershire sauce. Season generously with salt and pepper.
  • Simmer gently with the lid slightly ajar for 3 hours over medium heat.
  • Shred the meat using 2 forks, discard bones, fat, and gristle. Return shredded meat to the sauce and simmer until the liquid is reduced, around 15 to 20 minutes.
