Creamy mushroom sauce - perfect for any pasta dish!
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 6 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil
  • 3 tablespoons rum
  • 2 tablespoons cooking sherry
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1.25 cups sour cream
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 0.25 teaspoon sea salt
Instructions:
  • Combine butter and olive oil in a skillet over medium heat until melted. Cook mushrooms and basil until warm. Add rum and sherry, cook until mushrooms soften. Stir in lemon juice, sour cream, and Parmesan cheese; simmer until heated through. Season with salt and serve.
