Creamy pork chops cooked in butter with onions, garlic, tomatoes, mushrooms, basil, and rich chicken soup.
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 thick cut pork chops
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 onion, sliced into rings
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 0.25 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 large fresh tomato, chopped
  • 5 large fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 4 teaspoons sour cream
Instructions:
  • In a 4-quart saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Season both sides of pork chops with salt and pepper, then add them to the saucepan. Stir in onion and garlic, cooking for 3 minutes before flipping the pork chops and cooking for an additional 3 minutes. Add basil, tomatoes, mushrooms, milk, and soup. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 30 minutes. Turn the chops, stir the contents, and continue simmering for another 30 minutes. To serve, pour sauce over chops and garnish each with a teaspoon of sour cream.
