Spooky bats and cobwebs casserole: Bow tie pasta baked with beefy sauce and melted mozzarella for a deliciously eerie dish.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (8 ounce) package farfalle (bow tie) pasta
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 (28 ounce) jar pasta sauce
  • 8 ounces mozzarella cheese, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
  • 0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • 1. Fill a large pot with lightly salted water and bring it to a rolling boil over high heat. 2. Add the bow tie pasta and bring it back to a boil. Cook the pasta, stirring occasionally, until it's al dente, about 12 minutes. 3. Drain the pasta well.
  • In a large skillet, sauté ground beef and onion until beef is cooked through. Drain excess fat, then add pasta sauce and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer.
  • Incorporate the cooked pasta and half of the mozzarella cheese into the sauce, mixing well. Place the mixture into a 2-quart baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
