Festive cookie bars bursting with white chocolate, pistachio, and cranberry for a delightful pop of color and flavor.
Ingredients:
  • 2.25 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup Becel® Buttery Taste or Original Margarine*
  • 1 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 0.25 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large Naturegg™ Omega 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 3 tablespoons HERSHEY'S® Chipits® White Chocolate Baking Chips
  • 0.5 cup dried cranberries
  • 0.5 cup toasted chopped pistachios
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Line a 13 x 9-inch (33 x 23 cm) baking pan with foil or parchment paper, leaving a 2-inch (5 cm) overhang, then spray with cooking spray. In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
  • In a large bowl, cream together Becel Buttery Taste margarine and sugars until combined. Mix in eggs and vanilla until well blended. Gradually add the flour mixture and mix until just combined. Stir in cinnamon and ginger. Spread the dough into the prepared baking pan. In a small bowl, combine chocolate chips, cranberries, and pistachios. Sprinkle the mixture evenly over the dough and press gently.
  • Bake for 24 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow the pan to cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes. Use the foil overhang to lift the bars out of the pan and cool completely before cutting into 30 pieces.
