Indulge in irresistible oatmeal chocolate chip cookies made with savory Becel® salted margarine sticks for a delectable twist!
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1.5 cups quick oats
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) Becel® salted margarine sticks
  • 1.25 cups light brown sugar
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Mix together flour, oats, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl and set it aside.
  • In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to beat Becel® Sticks and brown sugar until creamy for about 3 minutes. Mix in egg and vanilla until well combined. Gently incorporate flour mixture and then stir in chocolate chips. Place tablespoonfuls of dough on ungreased baking sheets, keeping them 2 inches (5 cm) apart.
  • Bake until edges turn golden, approximately 8 minutes. Let the cookies cool on the sheets for 2 minutes on a wire rack. Then, transfer the cookies from the sheets and let them cool completely.
