Beef korma

Flavorful beef korma with abundant vegetables creates an easy, comforting meal for any weeknight.
Ingredients:
  • 18.20 gm olive oil
  • 600g diced beef heart smart
  • 375g pkt korma simmer sauce (Curry makers simmer sauces)
  • 2 carrots, peeled, chopped
  • 2 Desiree potatoes, peeled, cut into 2cm chunks
  • 200g yoghurt
  • 125.00 ml roughly chopped fresh coriander
  • Steamed rice, to serve
  • Cooked pappadums, to serve
Instructions:
  • In a large saucepan, heat half of the oil over high heat. Add half of the beef and cook, stirring, for 1-2 minutes until browned. Transfer to a bowl. Repeat with the remaining oil and beef.
  • Add the beef back to the pan with the korma paste, carrots, potatoes, and 1/2 cup (90g) of yogurt. Simmer gently, partly covered, for 10 minutes on low heat.
  • Simmer uncovered for 15-20 minutes until the sauce slightly thickens. Set aside 1 tablespoon of chopped coriander, then mix the rest into the curry. Serve the curry over rice, garnish with the reserved coriander, and enjoy with leftover yogurt and pappadums.
